Breathe Architecture is a socially responsible design studio spearheaded by Jeremy McLeod, based in Brunswick. Committed to championing the environment, the practice takes a strong stance on sustainability with low impact, smart and common sense design. Fieldwork is a young and dynamic practice driven by the design ethos to improve the status quo. Directors of the practice publish the progressive online publication Assemble Papers, which explores contemporary issues in architecture. Jardan design and make furniture that reflects the Australian lifestyle. Jardan have collaborated with Milieu on various projects, including Waterloo Street and Whitlam Place, giving purchasers the opportunity to select furniture, lighting and homewares individually specified for their homes. Established in Tokyo in 2002, this independent bicycle company offers sleek and minimalist bicycles that are light and comfortable to ride. This Collingwood outfit provides refined cycling products made locally and overseas. Tokyobike collaborated with Milieu on the cycling needs of residents in Peel and Nth FITZROY.
Tom and Captain is a pet friendly business built around urban adventures for dogs. Each day, Tom (human), Captain (dog) and the team give their clients the opportunity to get out and about across Melbourne. Tom and Captain is currently working with Milieu on a series of walking tours to take place in the second half of 2016.
